Vice President Investment Technology & Portfolio Solutions
Location: Hybrid New York Metro Area
We are partnering with a leading asset management firm to identify a seasoned professional to join their investment technology team as Vice President Portfolio Solutions. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience across fixed income asset classes and a background in either front-office technology or direct investment roles such as trading or portfolio strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with portfolio managers analysts risk and quantitative teams to assess and map existing investment processes tools and areas for enhancement.
- Lead the design of next-generation tools to support investment decision-making with a focus on alpha generation risk insights and productivity optimization.
- Define and document functional workflows requirements and solution architecture in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with software development teams to translate product designs into scalable solutions.
- Champion the adoption of automation and emerging technologies including AI/ML to modernize portfolio workflows.
Candidate Profile:
- 10 years of experience within institutional fixed income preferably in asset management or an investment advisory environment.
- Background in either investment technology leadership or a front-office function such as trading or portfolio analytics.
- Strong grasp of fixed income markets instruments and portfolio construction methodologies.
- Skilled in analyzing workflows and defining technical requirements; comfortable working across business and technical teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced certifications such as CFA or FRM are highly desirable.

Familiarity with platforms such as Aladdin or Bloomberg is a strong plus.

Experience with SQL Python data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) or UI/UX design is advantageous.
