The Opportunity:
Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for design and communication In this role youll take the lead in conceptualizing managing and producing original marketing and multimedia projects that support Enrollment Management and Student Financial Services. From eye-catching graphics to compelling web content youll bring your ideas to life across a variety of platforms.
Youll also play a key role in shaping our public relations and communication strategies. Your writing editing and content creation skills will help craft newsletters news releases brochures social media posts and moreall aligned with our departments goals and voice.
Beyond creative work youll support our client service and communication efforts helping students navigate financial aid and scholarship processes. Your understanding of award adjustments professional judgment and needs analysis will make a real difference in students lives.

This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $4061.00 - $6092.00 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in public relations communications marketing or other relevant field AND either two (2) years of professional experience in print OR broadcast news media public relations marketing including the use of electronic media or two (2) years of other relevant professional experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word Outlook PowerPoint and Excel programs.
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud HTML and Querying using SQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in relevant field.
Background in media and/or public information industries.
Experience working in a higher education setting.
Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
Experience using SLATE CRM.
