This role will execute Electric Vehicle deployments and allied Charging Infra scale-up across the Amazon India Transportation network. The role will also look at streamlining Sustainability reporting.
Background: At Amazon were working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. In Sep 19 Amazon took the Climate Pledge with a net zero carbon (NZC) commitment across our businesses by 2040 ten years ahead of the 2015 Paris Agreement. A large part of this charter is converting our existing transportation fleet to ZEVs (Electric Vehicles and Fuel cell vehicles). IN Ops operates vehicles through 3P operators who invest in these assets and associated energy infrastructure. The EV and allied energy space in India is in a nascent stage and for partners to switch to new cleaner technologies this will need focused intervention and collaboration with the OEMs charging infrastructure developers service network and afterlife recyclers.
This role is responsible for tracking and executing EV and charging infrastructure deployment as per plan. The role involves working with internal stakeholders including EV Zonal POCs ground Ops Site RME RE Legal and external vendors to keep deployments on track.

Defining prioritizing and planning EV and charging infrastructure deployments
Tracking program and project execution and ensuring timely project delivery to the appropriate levels of quality with constant effort to raise the bar and get better than the industry benchmark
Working cross functionally
Influencing internal and external stakeholders/partners and building partnerships across a wide range of 3P partners
Adopt new technologies and extend trainings to stakeholders on new offerings
The role will also look at streamlining Sustainability reporting.

About the team
The Central Sustainability teams mission is to provide long term scalable solutions that enable Amazon India Operations partners with solutions that improve overall Sustainability metrics.
- 2 years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Narrative writing and proposal building
