Responsibilities
- Wash dishes glassware flatware pots and pans using dishwashing equipment and by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area kitchen and storage spaces.
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes before placing them in the dishwasher.
- Ensure that all dishes are clean and sanitized for service or storage.
- Assist in food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as needed during slow periods.
- Take out the trash regularly and maintain a clean work environment.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the kitchen manager promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep up with high volume.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks.
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others.
