Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director and Nurse Manager of Cardiovascular Services the Supervisor Cardiovascular Services Structural Heart Coordinator provides daily administrative oversight operational oversight and clinical oversight for the Market Cardiovascular Service line including the Electrophysiology Lab (EP) and Non-Invasive Cardiology. This position requires providing supervisory/administrative supervision to departments that provide cardiology services to an in-patient and outpatient population ensuring compliance with regulatory standards accreditation requirements and hospital policies
As the primary liaison for the Structural Heart Program coordinating patient referrals pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow up the coordinator ensures seamless patient care coordination from initial referral through post-procedure follow up working closely with physicians staff and external partners to enhance program efficiency and patient outcomes. The coordinator supports strategic planning efforts to enhance cardiovascular and structural heart program development.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of three (3) years current nursing experience with one (1) year of cardiac experience in Cath lab or in a Structural Heart Coordinator role
