Job Description

In this strategic role you will be empowered to drive growth and innovation through the following key responsibilities:

Strategic Market & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for market growth by identifying assessing and capitalizing on new long-term business opportunities.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the regional landscape including a deep understanding of competitors growth areas and market influences.

  • Act as a thought leader by staying at the forefront of industry trends attending trade shows and events and exploring new technologies that could complement our offerings.

  • Champion innovation by surfacing new ideas product applications and solutions to our internal development teams.

Stakeholder Partnership & Client Engagement

  • Cultivate and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key external stakeholders including brand headquarters factories and liaison offices.

  • Communicate the unique value proposition and key differentiators of Avery Dennisons Embelex solutions to senior-level client representatives.

  • Serve as the trusted product and solution expert for both key clients and internal teams ensuring a deep understanding of our portfolios value.

Product & Commercial Leadership

  • Partner with Product Line Management (PLM) and other internal teams to validate new innovations and develop market-right products complete with compelling support materials and strategic pricing recommendations.

  • Develop and present robust ROI and business case analyses to justify new initiatives and investments.

  • Play a key role in the strategic planning process by contributing to the annual operating plan (AOP) and providing insightful analysis for monthly and quarterly business reviews and regional forecasting.

Team & Operational Excellence

  • Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team of direct reports.

  • Orchestrate cross-functional alignment by partnering with Business Development on high-visibility programs and aligning with Commercial Leads on the regional growth pipeline.

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive training and support calendar to ensure our commercial and factory teams are fully enabled across all regions.

  • Drive operational excellence by balancing entrepreneurial speed with global consistency across key functions including pipeline management solution proposals and customer feedback processes.


Qualifications :

  • Your Expertise: You have a deep understanding of the apparel industry especially trims and embellishments. Your strong financial acumen allows you to confidently build and analyze a business case.
  • Your Leadership: You are an experienced leader with a talent for managing and mentoring a successful team even across different locations.

  • Your Strategic Mindset: You thrive in a collaborative cross-functional environment and have an entrepreneurial spirit that drives you to find solutions. You excel at listening to customers and translating their needs into clear technical requirements.

  • Your Communication Skills: You are a natural storyteller and influencer who can rally support for a project across all levels of an organization. You are just as comfortable presenting a technical training session as you are in a boardroom.

  • Your Foundation: You have a Bachelors degree (or similar experience) in a business-related field are highly organized and are ready and willing to travel frequently to make an impact. You have at least 5 years of experience in a relevant field like business development or another commercial function.
