Job Description

Position Summary
The Graduate Research Assistant will support Dr. Magnos intensive GIS (Geographic Information System) research focusing on projects in the Philippines and Erie Pennsylvania. The role requires a willingness to engage in fieldwork learn GIS software and have basic knowledge of data management. Career Readiness Learning Objectives: Critical Thinking: The research assistant will aid in fieldwork data collection and help to analyze patterns seen in the data. Communication: The research assistant will effectively communicate with Dr. Magno regarding data collection in a professional and clear manor.

Physical Demands
Ability to lift 20 pounds if needed

Required Qualifications
Applicants must be accepted into a graduate program at Gannon University. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated possess strong organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to work independently. Additionally candidates must align with and support the Universitys Mission.
