Were looking for an Associate Manager CNC Engineering to lead a team driving innovation in the development and execution of world-class CNC processes for life-changing medical devices.
In this hands-on leadership role youll be a key part of our Product Transfer team - guiding process development mentoring engineers and ensuring our CNC machining capabilities meet the highest standards of quality safety and compliance. Youll work across functions to bring new products to life shape our CNC strategy and influence the future of medical device manufacturing.
What You Will Do:
- Lead CNC engineering operations with a focus on multi-axis machining Swiss Turning and Turn-Milling
- Manage CNC equipment strategyincluding specification procurement installation and CE-compliant commissioning
- Drive process development optimization and validation in a regulated medical device environment
- Mentor and coach engineers and CNC programmers fostering technical growth and collaboration
- Develop and refine CNC programs using G-code FANUC Siemens Mazatrol and Mitsubishi
- Leverage CAM and simulation tools to enhance efficiency safety and part quality
- Apply GD&T SPC MSA and validation techniques to ensure robust repeatable processes
- Ensure compliance with ISOCFR Part 820 and EU Machinery Directive standards
- Lead continuous improvement efforts and share best practices across global teams
What You Need:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Manufacturing or related engineering field
- 6 years of experience in CNC engineering ideally in medical devices or other regulated industries
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
- Deep knowledge of CNC machining programming and process control
- Familiarity with CE marking EU Machine Directives and machine safety standards
- Strong communication analytical and problem-solving skills
- English fluency in speaking and writing
