This dedicated organisation believe that everyone deserves a safe and affordable home and as the team continue to grow they are searching for experienced Housing Officers to help deliver safe secure and sustainable tenancies for their residents across Victoria.
What Youll Be Doing
Youll work directly with residents to:
- Manage tenancy relationships : supporting people to sustain long-term housing.
- Manage the end-to-end tenancy process including rent arrears property inspections and tenancy risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Allocations NDIS Sustainment) to deliver integrated tenancy support.
- Maintain accurate tenancy records and compliance with theResidential Tenancies Act and SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) requirements.
You will have a stronger focus on customer service tenancy sustainment and building trusted relationships.
Were Looking For People Who:- Haveexperience managing tenancies (ideally in social community or public housing)
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence particularly when working with vulnerable people.
- Understand thecomplex challenges facing tenants at risk of homelessness or disadvantage.
- Are highly organised compassionate and able to work collaboratively across teams.
- Can navigate housing regulations and keep clear professional records.
- Are eager to grow and learn including in areas likeNDIS and SDA housing.
- Qualifications in housing social services or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- Be part of a collaborative national team that values your experience and impact.
