The decentralized Neurology Critical Care Clinical Specialist is responsible for the delivery and documentation of pharmaceutical care provided to patients using the medication use process (selecting prescribing dispensing administration and monitoring of medications). The neuro critical care pharmacist provides clinical direction for the pharmacy and acts as a pharmacy liaison. The pharmacist in this position actively participates in formulary management pharmacotherapy services and drug therapy management.
This position is 50% clinical 50% faculty in collaboration with the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy. The clinical practice site is atSt. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center.
Located in Phoenix AZ this position is critical to the success of St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CommonSpirit Health Dignity Health and the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy.
