Join Our Team as a Teacher Assistant at KCARC!
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children Do you thrive in a supportive inclusive and mission-driven environment KCARC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Assistant to join our Childrens Services team!
At KCARC we believe in creating opportunities for individuals and families with special needsand that starts with nurturing our youngest learners in a respectful caring and developmentally appropriate setting.
As a Teacher Assistant youll play an essential role in helping implement our early childhood curriculum and support the growth and development of every child in your classroom. Youll work closely with a team of educators to create a fun engaging and inclusive environment where children can learn grow and thrive.
Were looking for someone who is reliable flexible and enthusiastic about working with young childrenespecially those with special needs.
You should have:
- A high school diploma or GED (required)
- A CDA credential or willingness to begin working toward one within your first year (well help with tuition!)
- Experience in an early childhood setting (preferred)
- A caring patient and energetic personality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office etc.)

- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Must pass a state-required physical
- Ability to lift bend and be active throughout the day
