Job Description Summary
The primary function of the Material Specialist is to schedule production requirements ensuring that we meet our production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The role reports directly to the Materials Manager and will work closely with internal departments external suppliers logistics partners and financial team. This position requires someone who can handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high standards of performance and ethics.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Schedule Work Orders
- Print eDHR Checklisst Associated with Scheduled Work Orders.
- Monitor/Update Work Order completion dates.
- Schedule Work Orders for Outsource Materials communicate to Warehouse Team & Procurement for shipment.
- Reconcile Work Orders (Errors in labor material quantity issued scrapped pieces)
- Verify Inventory Consumption is correct for all work orders.
- Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/exec
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in Supply Chain Management (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Supply Chain)
Desired Characteristics
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word).
- Knowledge of ERP system Oracle (GL Prod)
- Knowledge of PLM Software - MyWorkShop
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines.
- Adaptable to changing business environments.
- Proactive attitude with a problem-solving approach.
