Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Europe Quality Leader the Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that products or services meet established quality standards playing a crucial role in identifying defects process gaps and implementing processes to enhance quality and efficiency.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of the quality management for the Avenza and Kollsnes sites according to ISO 9001 requirements
- Responsible for coordinating internal workstation audits and external audits
- Conduct internal quality management systems & process Audits
- Responsible for creating maintaining and updating QMS procedures and work instructions through extensive collaborations with all functions.
- Revise standard work to mitigate and prevent product & process quality defects
- Drive and influence the organization at all levels towards a zero defect culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college in engineering or equivalent experience
- Some experience in a quality assurance role preferable within the turbomachinery/aviation industries
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management System tools continuous improvement methodologies and ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to influence and work cross functionally acting as a glue among departments
Desired Characteristics
- Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering experience in the Aerospace or Aviation industry or experience in manufacturing engineering in Aerospace Aviation or Oil and Gas field.
- Prior experience with ISO 9001:2015
- Demonstrated expertise to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization
