Job Title:DIRECTOR OF ACADEMIC AFFAIRSReports To:Head of SchoolPosition Type:Full-Time ExemptLocation:Notre Dame Academy Worcester MAOur philosophy of education at Notre Dame Academy a college preparatory school for young women in grades 7-12 is built on the belief that education should prepare students for their role as women in the world. In order to learn to make responsible choices our students have the freedom to learn in a school dedicated to high academic standards and to involve themselves in the community both utilizing its resources and serving its Overview:The Director of Academic Affairs is a strategic academic leader responsible for shapingand driving the instructional vision and ensuring the highest standards of teaching andlearning across the organization. This role provides oversight for curriculum designinstructional practice professional development and assessment systems with a focuson continuous improvement equity and excellence. The Director of Academic Affairsworks collaboratively with administrators the Director of Student Services andeducators to cultivate a culture of high expectations and instructional innovation thatdirectly impacts student achievement and well-being.
