Job Description
We are looking for a Lab Director at Howard Memorial. This position is responsible for the overall operation and management of all clinical laboratory and testing services. The director must ensure safe timely and appropriate care for lab staff and patients. Must have knowledge of testing services and equipment functions.

- Oversees personnel functions such as training evaluating performances interviewing scheduling staff meetings continued education and upkeep of licensures.
- Inventory management
- Laboratory equipment functions and maintaining
- Prepares departmental budget
- Stays current on regulatory guidelines
- Oversees safety of all procedures. Ensures that department meets all standards and protocols.
- This list is not all inclusive other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- BA/BSdegree in relevant science
- 5 years experience as general supervisor
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage large department of staff
- US Citizen or Green Card holder
