Job Description
Description of the role:
As a Parts Counterperson at Sternberg Automotive Sales & Service in Louisville Kentucky you will be responsible for handling the sale of parts to customers both in-person and over the phone. Also will involve some checking in and stocking of parts as well as some pick up and delivery. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the right parts are provided to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding the correct parts for their vehicles
- Answer inquiries about parts availability pricing and compatibility
- Process parts orders and manage inventory
- Work closely with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a parts department or automotive industry preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts orders
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is a plus
