Job Description
KalSoft is currently looking for a Full-Stack Developer (Python/Django Frontend) to come and join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building full-stack web applications using Django and modern frontend technologies. The candidate will work as part of a collaborative development team delivering scalable digital solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop deploy and support full-stack web applications using Python (Django) and modern frontend frameworks
- Build and maintain backend services APIs and data models using Django and Django REST Framework
- Create responsive interactive and user-friendly frontends using HTML CSS JavaScript and optionally React or Vue
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs across the application stack
- Optimize applications for speed scalability and security
- Participate in code reviews daily stand-ups and sprint planning activities
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely fixes
- Work closely with project managers UI/UX designers and QA teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintain documentation related to system architecture business logic and technical processes
- Canadian residents based in the GTA apply only
- Proven development experience withPythonandDjangoin a production environment
- Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL MySQL) and Django ORM
- Solid experience withHTML CSS JavaScript
- Experience withReactVue or other frontend libraries/frameworks is an asset
- Familiarity withDjango REST Framework(DRF) for building APIs
- Experience working withGitversion control
- Understanding ofDockerCelery and asynchronous task queues is a plus
- Familiarity with deployment platforms such asHerokuAWS orAzureis beneficial
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Strong problem-solving debugging and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
