About The Role:

Were looking for a confident collaborative and future-focused leader to champion library and community experiences at Ngutungka Henley - our newest integrated Community Centre and Library and a vibrant community hub. In this role youll lead and support a team of Library & Information Officers fostering a culture of collaboration curiosity and continuous improvement. Youll drive performance strengthening team capability and ensuring the consistent delivery of brilliant customer experiences.

Working alongside fellow Team Leaders in the Community Experience (Libraries) team youll facilitate service excellence overseeing the day-to-day operations identifying and acting on opportunities and ensuring our services are locally responsive. Your leadership will position our libraries as vibrant community hubs providing outstanding customer support and equitable access to resources. Youll help create a space where people feel supported connected and inspired to learn explore and belong.

  • Strong operational oversight and attention to detail managing day-to-day activity with confidence and clarity.

  • Confidence navigating change and the ability to lead others through evolving service models and priorities.

The Detail:

The position is offered on a part-time (0.8FTE) fixed-term basis until 30 June 2026 and is classified at Level 5 with a salary range of $100774 to $105111 per annum (pro-rata) Super Annual Leave Loading.

A current unprohibitedWorking with Children Check must be maintained for the duration of the employment period in this prescribed position.
