Job Description

Note:This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Denver CO office. After one year a hybrid remote schedule may be discussed.

Note:The qualified candidate for this position must be licensed to practice law in Colorado and have 4 years of transactional and/or litigation experience.

About Our Client

Our client is a full-service law firm with deep expertise in community association law real estate and governance matters. They serve a wide array of homeowner associations delivering legal counsel that balances technical precision with clear client-friendly communication.

Job Description

  • Provide legal representation to homeowner association clients
  • Draft and review contracts easement agreements governing documents rules licenses and opinion letters
  • Analyze statutes case law real estate documents insurance policies and corporate governance materials
  • Perform legal research and issue well-founded legal opinions
  • Attend board and annual meetings including some evenings
  • Communicate regularly with clients via phone email and in-person
  • Participate in client education and business development efforts
  • Handle real estate nonprofit employment law fair housing and contract-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records and billing time

Qualifications

  • Active license to practice law in Colorado
  • 4 years of relevant experience in real estate law nonprofit corporate governance contracts employment or torts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients with no legal background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
  • Familiarity with legal billing and case management software a plus
