Job Title Labor & Employment Attorney
Location Los Angeles California
Base Salary $160000 to $210000
Our client a well-established Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a seasoned Labor & Employment Attorney to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking meaningful work long-term growth and a collegial team environment.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of labor and employment law experience with strong writing litigation and case management skills. Public entity experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a broad range of labor & employment matters-both litigation and counseling
- Draft pleadings motions legal memoranda and discovery responses
- Manage cases from intake through trial prep including depositions and strategy
- Advise clients on employment issues compliance and risk mitigation
- Collaborate effectively with internal legal teams and clients
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of labor & employment law experience (defense side)
- Excellent research writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently
- Experience with public entity law is preferred not required
- Active California Bar license in good standing
