Job Title Defense Litigation Attorney Tort Law

Location Los Angeles California

Base Salary $120000 $150000

Our client a respected Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with a focus on tort law to join its growing team. This role offers a strong compensation package performance-based bonuses and a clear path for professional growth.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have 3 5 years of litigation experience with a background in tort matters such as negligence negligent hiring/supervision/retention and premises liability.

*** Public entity experience is a plus though not required. ***

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of tort litigation matters including negligence and premises liability
  • Draft pleadings motions and legal memoranda; manage all phases of discovery
  • Conduct depositions and prepare cases for trial
  • Collaborate with internal legal teams while managing cases independently

Qualifications

  • 3 5 years of litigation and tort law experience
  • Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple active matters
  • Public entity experience preferred not required
  • Active California Bar license in good standing
