Base Salary $120000 $150000
Our client a respected Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with a focus on tort law to join its growing team. This role offers a strong compensation package performance-based bonuses and a clear path for professional growth.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have 3 5 years of litigation experience with a background in tort matters such as negligence negligent hiring/supervision/retention and premises liability.
*** Public entity experience is a plus though not required. ***
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of tort litigation matters including negligence and premises liability
- Draft pleadings motions and legal memoranda; manage all phases of discovery
- Conduct depositions and prepare cases for trial
- Collaborate with internal legal teams while managing cases independently
Qualifications
- 3 5 years of litigation and tort law experience
- Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple active matters
- Public entity experience preferred not required
- Active California Bar license in good standing
