The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a highly motivated and talented 787 Systems Senior Manager (Level L) to join the team in Everett WA.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our engineering and technical teams across all 787 Systems. In this pivotal role you will manage employees and first-level managers ensuring the successful execution of engineering activities and the integration of systems within the 787 program.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a team of engineers and first-level managers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Develop and execute integrated departmental plans policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Provide strategic input on departmental business and technical strategies ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
Acquire and allocate resources effectively for departmental activities ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Provide technical management of suppliers ensuring that all products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the department.
Develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports to facilitate collaboration and communication.
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Manage develop and motivate employees and first-level managers promoting professional growth and development within the team.
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett WA.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.
Proven experience in managing engineering teams particularly in Systems.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and policies.
Experience in managing supplier relationships and overseeing technical processes.
