WHB Engineers is a well-established and growing Civil Engineering and Construction Management firm with offices in San Diego San Mateo Dublin Pleasant Hill and Chico California. Our firm provides a full array of engineering public works design and construction and project management services.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an Engineering Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized has solid communication skills can work independently with minimum supervision is team oriented personable and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who is curious and eager to learn and has some experience in civil engineering design via coursework or other hands-on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Engineers with design of projects
- Under direct supervision perform studies calculations designs and preparation of plans and reports in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in an accredited Civil Structural Electrical or Environmental Engineering program
- Experience with AutoCAD / Civil 3D
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong attention to detail
- Solid experience with the MS Office Suite
