EOI Space is developing and deploying a network of satellites in Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) to provide ultra-high-resolution Earth imagery. We aim to deliver timely and actionable data for commercial and defense applications.

Does this sound like you EOI Space is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the execution of a complex satellite development program. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and demonstrated experience managing satellite development programs.
What you will do:
You will lead the execution of a complex satellite development program from design through launch and early operations. Youll work closely with engineering manufacturing test and leadership teams to ensure technical milestones are met risks are managed and the program is ultimately delivered in an efficient manner. This is a hands-on role in a lean and collaborative environment ideal for a technical program manager who thrives at the intersection of technology systems-level thinking and execution. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our mission to deliver high-quality Earth imagery that benefits society.
Responsibilities:
Own the program plan schedule and delivery of a space vehicle development program through launch and early operations
Drive the week-to-week execution of the satellite development team
Serve as the primary execution point of contact across teams for your program
Facilitate cross-functional coordination across subsystem leads suppliers and operations
Develop and manage detailed program schedules work breakdown structures (WBS) and budgets
Identify and mitigate technical and programmatic risks including dependencies across teams
Lead regular program reviews providing transparency into status issues and critical path
Drive execution on hardware builds integration & test campaigns and launch preparations
Work closely with vendors and internal leadership to ensure program alignment
Required Qualifications:
7 years of technical program or project management experience in aerospace defense or complex hardware systems
Proven track record delivering spacecraft or space-related hardware programs
Bachelors or Masters in Engineering Physics or related technical discipline
Strong systems-level understanding of spacecraft development (bus and/or payload)
Expertise in program planning tools (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet Jira or equivalent)
Comfortable leading in a fast-paced high-ambiguity startup environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority
Familiarity with configuration management and mission assurance (desired)
Familiarity with the US regulatory framework and licensing for remote sensing satellites (desired)
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $170000-$225000 per year depending on previous experience. Pay ranges are determined by role level location and alignment with market data. Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: interviews and an assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate job-related skills relevant education and experience certifications abilities of the candidate and internal equity.
Work Location:
This role can be in either Louisville CO or in Seattle WA. Satellite integration for the initial vehicles is happening in EOIs Colorado facility with a planned transition to Seattle. For candidates that are in Seattle regular travel is required to be on-site at the Louisville CO facility.
