Job Description

Description

TheMetrology Engineer II will be responsible for developing and implementing precision measurement techniques conducting calibration processes and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our measurement systems. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision across our manufacturing processes.

This position will serve our Air Conditioning Division located in Fort Smith AR.



Responsibilities
  • Designs establishes analyzes and revises systems for calibration and repair of physical/thermodynamic/mechanical and electrical test and measurement equipment.
  • Works with technicians to resolve technical procedural logistical and material problems with the calibration and repair of Test and Measurement Equipment and associated processes.
  • Develops/revises calibration procedures to support new and changing requirements.
  • Creates analyzes and revises parameter statistical measurement uncertainty analyses for maintenance of laboratory accreditation.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineer or related degree
  • 3 years of experience in a Metrology Laboratory with a diversity of disciplines and capabilities (electrical thermodynamic mechanical pressure Mass Force and Weighing Device).
  • Experience managing Calibration tracking software- Proficient using computers and major components of MS Office suite.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills to engage with a team

HOW TO STAND OUT:

  • Experience in various electrical thermodynamic mass pressure liquid flow and force disciplines.
  • Ability to develop metrology measurement techniques and procedures.
  • Strong experience calculating overall measurement uncertainties including the identification to all contributing factors.
  • Solid understanding of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Proficient using computers and major components of the MS Office suite.
