Job Description
This is a full time 40 hour a week position.
MSPCA is one of the oldest and most respected humane organizations in the world. We are looking for an experienced manager with two or more years of animal shelter veterinary services or social services field experience.
THE POSITION:
Join our Management team at our state-ofthe-art Cape Animal Adoption Center. If you are adept at communication organization love a fast paced environment and have the ability to motivate and inspire our Animal Adoption Center team you are the applicant we are looking for.
The Manager will directly supervise on-going performance of animal care staff and volunteers and lead daily MSPCA Adoption Center shelter operations including the intake care adoption and euthanasia of animals.
The Adoption Center Manager will serve as a role model and reinforce a positive approach and culture to interactions with staff volunteers visitors and members of the public. The Manager will also develop and implement training plans for new and current employees.
Applicants should have a deep sense of compassion and a strong desire to help both animals and people along with the ability to maintain our positive work environment that we foster here at MSPCA.
