We are currently hiring for a Front Office/Patient Access Specialist. This is a 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week) position. The work schedule will typically consist of three (3) 8-hour shift per week. The days will primarily be on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays with hours ranging between 7:30am to 5:00pm. There will be no evenings weekends or holidays. This position is located at our Mankato Clinic in Mankato MN and is benefit eligible!
This position exists to provide access for patients families and providers to Gillettes complex services throughout Greater Minnesota. This position promotes and maintains excellence by providing a positive patient and family experience as the first impression of the organization. This position is expected to maintain and promote excellent customer service by supporting the efficient running of the Greater Minnesota clinics through clinical and administrative duties.
Duties include patient access greeting and assisting patients and visitors in person as well as over the phone phone coverage registering patients scheduling patients rooming patients assisting with heights & weight assisting with transferring of patients assisting with managing the Greater Minnesota work queue providing administrative support to clinic employees by ordering non-medical supplies for Greater Minnesota clinic they support. This position may be asked to travel to other Greater Minnesota clinics and/or may be asked to remotely cover another Greater Minnesota clinic.
Compensation & Benefits Information
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $22.22/hour to $33.34/hour with a median wage of $27.78/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience education certification & licensure and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
