Under general supervision the Pharmacy Program Manager is responsible for the assessment analysis planning implementation and evaluation of major programs and projects. Acts as a change agent to create and support a positive change process for the Pharmacy team.
Oversees medium to large sized multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts and these projects could be system wide.
Drives progress of the project including overseeing the assessment analysis planning implementation and evaluation.
Manages project plan scope and aids in assessment of resource requirements to achieve desired outcomes and directs re-engineering efforts.
Ensures the project achieves the expected business outcomes. Analyzes and documents processes procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.
Communicates collaborates networks with and acts as a consultant to key stakeholders/business partners / executive level leadership in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources. Acts as a mentor to others.
Participates on committees as member consultant and/or chair along with communicating with all levels of the organization.
Develops and leads teams which are larger in scope.
Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management
Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of significant issues and develops recommendation for leadership consideration including all levels of leadership.
Provides guidance direction and training to less experienced Project Specialists.
Required
Required Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
5 years of related healthcare experience
3 years of proven project management experience
Preferred
Masters Degree in a related field
