Digital Portfolio Office is looking for an IT Trainee

ROCKWOOL GBS is looking for an IT Trainee to join our Digital Portfolio Office (DPO) with opportunities to work in our office in Poznan Poland.

Your future team

Within our Digital Portfolio Office we focus on ensuring effective project and portfolio management. We support decision-making with data-driven insights provide tools and coaching and develop governance processes to enhance transparency and efficiency across our digital initiatives.

What you will be doing

You will work approximately 15-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling to accommodate your studies. However well rely on your support during critical deadlines.

We are seeking students willing to work in data analytics portfolio and project management and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Collect clean and analyze project and portfolio data to provide actionable insights
  • Reporting: Maintenance and design of PowerBi and/or Excel reports based on available data to support decision-making and portfolio oversight
  • Project Support: Document decisions update master data perform invoice-related activities and support stakeholders with analysis and tools
  • Project Contribution: You will play a key role in our Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Implementation project being a part of the evolution of our processes and tools to align with modern best practices and drive impactful results
  • Content Creation: Develop user guides templates and other materials to enhance stakeholder engagement
  • Platform Management: Improve and maintain communication platforms (e.g. SharePoint Teams)
  • Process Improvement: Document and refine internal processes to enhance usability and transparency

You will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and stakeholders gaining practical experience in project portfolio management and communication excellence.

What were looking for

  • Enrolled in a Bachelors (mid-studies) or at the start of a Masters program in a relevant field like Business Administration IT Economics or similar
  • Proficiency in Excel for data roles and potentially experience with PowerBi
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and Teams for communication-focused roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Curious proactive and eager to learn.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident working independently and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
