Manager Property Services

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Manager Property Services to lead the operation maintenance and improvement of all Ngala properties including owned and leased properties and plant and equipment. The role ensures safe high quality and compliant property services driving strategic and operational projects that align with Ngalas mission and goals.

Property operations and maintenance
Strategic projects & capital works
Contractor & contract management
Leadership & team development
Planning budgets & reporting
Systems policies and compliance
Environmental sustainability
Other operational matters
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will be highly organised and have strong communication skills together with the following:
Relevant qualification or property services experience with a minimum of 3 years experience at management level within an organisation of similar size and complexity.
Experience in the building industry is preferred
Substantial experience successfully leading the strategy development and operational delivery of property procurement and contract management including a strong
understanding and experience in the application of short term and long-term property management strategies.
Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in the development and management of capital expenditure and operational budgets including cost control and reporting to all levels of the organisation.
Strong written and verbal and interpersonal communication skills that build successful working relationships with a customer focused approach.
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills and applying these to property leases and contractor negotiations.
Strong understanding of relevant legislative obligations and Australian Standards relating to property and procurement including relevant Codes of Practice and Work Health and Safety legislation.
Excellent computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications (i.e. outlook word excel) and skills in using property and maintenance software.
Demonstrated experience in organising and prioritising tasks working effectively under pressure problem solving and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of project management methodology to plan implement and evaluate improvements and projects.
National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
Current WA Working with Childrens Check
