HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Maintenance Technician position at our Hickory Metal Plant. Listed below are the qualifications and requirements for the position.

Responsibilities
Ability to analyze and repair machine equipment involving mechanical pneumatic hydraulic other power sources and basic electronics.
Able to read and/or understand blueprints schematics and standard metric measurements
Transport parts using forklift.
Perform basic machine shop duties.
Perform basic welding duties.
Maintain a clean organized area.
Assist in maintaining inventory of parts.
Maintain and follow all safety rules according to regulations.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Maintenance Tech - Minimum Requirements:
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to work without direct supervision.
Must be able to read measuring devices blueprints and schematics
Must have good communication skills.
Must have excellent work record and attendance.
Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Must have good math skills (add subtract divide).
Must have electromechanical and basic PLC troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of ISO.
Knowledge of Lockout Tagout.
