Full Job Description:School Nurse- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Grade: Hourly 18 H-18

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Site Administrator and Manager of SchoolNursing the school nurse (LPN) works with students and the entire school communitysupporting health needs such as medication administration first aid immunizationcompliance and workers compensation documentation etc. Computer use for taskssuch as email submitting attachments reports online supply orders accessing forms etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing program from vocational or other technicalschool
Experience:
Two (2) years of nursing experience
School nursing pediatric nursing or related nursing specialty experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.:
Valid unrestricted license for practical nursing from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing
Knowledge of fundamental nursing concepts practices and procedures.
Possess or ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 60 days of hire
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish a plus
