Highly regarded non-profit is seeking a Payroll Coordinator/Staff Accountant for this temp to hire on site full time opportunity. Qualified accounting candidates will have 3 years recent ADP payroll experience strong organizational skills a collaborative mindset and a passion for mission-driven work.
WHEN: Starts ASAP
LENGTH: 3 months temp to hire if mutual fit
WHERE: Onsite in Larkspur Landing easy access to Smart Train
HOURS: Monday Friday 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Payroll Coordinator duties
Manage and process bi-weekly payroll for 500 employees
Prepare payroll-related reports as required by state/federal laws
Reconcile general ledger accounts operations & payroll bank checking accounts monthly
GL upload of bi-weekly payroll files
Document month end journal entries
Payroll Coordinator requirements
2 years recent ADP payroll processing experience
Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices bookkeeping financial reporting and audit preparation.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelors Degree highly preferred
