QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Possess basic accounting skills with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a business office environment preferred.
3. Proficient in the use of MS-Word and MS-Excel.
4. Proficient in the use of calculator (10-key by touch).
5. Competent in records management and general office procedures.
6. Effective oral and written communication.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
250 days
SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$42078 CP7
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year 2023-2024
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare journal vouchers as assigned.
2. Prepare deposits for miscellaneous checks and cash received in the finance office.
3. Post returned checks.
4. Post deposits from cash receipt systems to the general ledger.
5. Serve as liaison for District with courier and reconciliation of monthly courier invoices.
6. Coordinate the payment of sales tax for the District.
7. Coordinate change fund orders for district locations.
8. Order banking supplies for schools and departments.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by Assistant Director or Director of Financial Services.
