We are currently looking for a new team member for the global role of Process Expert Vendor & Material Master Data (VMD & MM) to join our international team in the Warsaw office.
You will be joining Digital Procurement & process excellence team Global Procurement which is focusing on standardization streamlining digitalization of procurement processes and practices. While many processes are in place VELUX is on the journey of further improving the efficiency and compliance of the source-to-pay processes. - The role includes strategic tasks defining and driving the direction of the VMD & MM process strategy. It also involves tactical and continuous improvement responsibilities ensuring the health of the process and supporting systems identifying root causes of inefficiencies and deviations and staying in regular contact with users. The position requires leading workshops and handling a significant amount of communication and training activities.

Your key responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the process strategy for Vendor & Material Master Data (VMD & MM)
- Collaborate with business owners share best practices gather business needs and align on the future process state
- Design and map global processes and policies including required IT support
- Lead process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives; facilitate workshops with key users
- Deliver training sessions and communication within the global procurement function
- Monitor process compliance define KPIs and implement corrective actions
- Support VMD/MM-related projects to ensure process consistency
What were looking for:
- 23 years of experience as a Process Expert or 5 years in procurement
- Experience in direct procurement within manufacturing (especially Material Master data)
- Proven experience in process design and data management
- Proficiency with SAP ERP SAP Ariba SLP (or similar solutions for vendor management) and process mapping tools (e.g. Visio)
- Professient oral and written English (B2C1 level)
- Proactive mindset ownership attitude and strong collaboration skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree (preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics)
- Nice to have: Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt)
- Willingness to travel for business: approx. 25 days per annum
