Job Description
Position: Content Writer
Working Hours: Flexible (a few hours overlapping the US Timezone to collaborate with the US-based team)
Location: South Africa and Latin America
Role Overview
You ll write like the client high-retention clear direct and entertaining. You should think in hooks narrative arcs emotional storytelling and viral psychology not just long-form but also catchy clickable titles and thumbnails that drive clicks.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write 5 7 high-quality YouTube scripts per month 2000 words each)
- Craft click-worthy YouTube titles and brainstorm thumbnail ideas to maximize CTR
- Develop scripts for LinkedIn posts Instagram Reels and email newsletters
- Ensure all content aligns with the clients brand voice and style
- Incorporate data storytelling and research to back up ideas
- Work with the design team to package content for distribution
- Help brainstorm new content pillars and series
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in long-form content writing ideally for YouTube or online education
- Proven copywriting skills knows how to write compelling titles hooks and CTAs
- Deep understanding of narrative structure and audience retention
- Excellent research skills; can distill complex ideas into clear engaging scripts
- Ability to study the clients content and replicate his tone and humor instantly
- Comfortable working directly with subject-matter experts
- Portfolio that shows YouTube newsletter or viral post success
Note: Strong English writing and storytelling is non-negotiable we want someone who can think like a creator not just churn out words.
