You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPerform MIG welding in 3G (Vertical) and 4G (Overhead) positions on various metals such as stainless steel carbon steel and aluminum.
Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and welding symbols.
Set up welding machines and select appropriate settings for the job.
Measure cut and align metal parts prior to welding.
Inspect and test welds using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques.
Perform repairs on welded parts when necessary.
Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean safe and organized manner.
Ensure all welding activities comply with company standards and safety regulations.
ITI / Diploma / Certification in Welding Technology or related field.
Valid 3G/4G MIG Welder Certification from a recognized authority (e.g. AWS CSWIP TWI) is preferred.
Ability to pass welding tests based on project or client specifications.
Proficiency in MIG welding techniques (especially 3G and 4G positions).
Sound knowledge of welding tools materials and safety standards.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Physical stamina and dexterity for handling welding tools and working in various positions.
Basic knowledge of welding defects and methods of rectification.
