As a Program Management Director within PNCs Technology organization you will be based in Pittsburgh PA or Dallas TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely at the managers discretion.

This role will be accountable for leading strategic technology programs across the Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) and Asset Management Group (AMG) CIO domains. This leader will oversee high-impact programs within payments treasury services and capital markets. They will be managing systems and driving transformational initiatives aligned with business needs. They will oversee and manage the delivery of complex cross-functional programs including treasury management system payments infrastructure Embedded finance and markets platforms.

Key Skills/Experience:
- Proven success managing multiple technology programs and initiatives concurrently
- Expertise in payments treasury services and market systems. Treasury management systems and payment platforms experience.
- Drives execution of projects and programs to ensure outcomes are achieved. Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results.
- Influences changes to the way we work including embracing Agility and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence senior leaders and c-level stakeholders.
- Team management and skill development

Job Description

  • Oversees program managers to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. No requirement for program size.
  • Evaluates and provides guidance during the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; develops strategies to ensure all projects within the program are cohesive and in line with organizational goals.
  • Oversight and reporting for the overall program budget while working to ensure success of the program.
  • Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results.
  • Leads and develops program management teams. Builds business relationships to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree PhD or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8 years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree a comparable combination of education job specific certification(s) and experience (including military service) may be considered.
