Summary
The Director of Individual Giving is responsible for growing the base of new and existing individual donors to drive revenue growth in alignment with the organizations strategic priorities. This leader works closely with the Vice President of Development to identify donors support stewardship and conduct prospect research. The Director plays a critical role in cultivating major gifts andstrengthening alumni engagement. This position includes an annual individual fundraising goal determined in collaboration with leadership.
The Director of Individual Giving must be a compelling storyteller and relationship builder who can inspire donors to deepen their support. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and a creative out-of-the-box fundraiser who can leverage networks and build meaningful long-term donor relationships. The Director will also contribute to a culture of philanthropy across the organization and champion fundraising through an equity lens.
