THE ROLE
- HOURS: On-the-job training will be conducted for this role Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm. After training the hours are 3-11pm.
- Press Setup & Operation Training: Drive clamp truck to drop and open rolls. Start inch crawl idle and shut down the press. Understand and adjust air settings on the Cutstar. Install and remove plates. Change blankets and packing on ink and coating units.
- Learn to hang and splice rolls on the press. Sync sheet size between Cutstar and press.
- Equipment Maintenance & Stocking: Install ink key liner and fountain liner. Insert ink canisters and fill ink fountains. Wash blankets rollers and impression cylinders. Learn coater startup shutdown and maintenance procedures. Set roll and sheet size accurately. Load and unload skids in delivery.
Qualifications :
- KNOWLEDGE: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven dedication in prior roles through longevity and consistent work history in positions such as Production Worker Receiving Associate or similar role. Prior experience operating an Offset Press such as Kamori Heidelberg KBA or similar is highly beneficial.
- SKILLS: Must be able to identify color variation on labels with high attention to detail. Perform basic math skills. Excellent communication and people skills. Experience working efficiently with minimal supervision. Ability to measure product utilizing the metric system. Utilize utility knife to perform precise cuts. Acceptable vision or corrected vision to observe detail. Ability to learn to operate a floor jack.
- ABILITIES: THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street. Ability to lift and move 50 pounds. Frequent bending stooping twisting of lumbar and squatting. Ability to stand and walk on cement floors with anti-fatigue mats. Frequent reaching below the waist and shoulder level and wrist motion and gripping. Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen physical assessments audio and color vision test.
