Job Description
Travel RN- Obstetrics / Gynecology (Night Shift)
Location: Oswego NY 13126
Duration: 8-weeks Contract
Shift: 12-hr Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2232 - $2376; (Negotiable based on experience)
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies procedures and protocols of the facility
- Care for laboring mothers postpartum patients and newborns in a Level 1 nursery
- Monitor patients during labor using GE and Phillips fetal heart rate monitors
- Administer medications including Pitocin Magnesium Sulfate and OB-specific meds
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Care for GYN female orthopedic and female bariatric patients as census demands
- Accurately document patient care in Meditech EMR and GE monitoring systems
- Active NY RN License (Must be in hand)
- 1 year of OB experience
- Experience in Labor & Delivery Postpartum and Nursery care
- Current certifications in BLS ACLS and NRP
- Experience using Meditech and GE systems
- Able to work independently and in high-stress situations
