You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Mid-Level IT Support Engineer to join our IT Operations team. You will be responsible for providing 2nd and some 3rd-line technical support managing IT incidents performing root cause analysis and contributing to IT infrastructure improvements. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong problem-solving skills excellent communication abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
Qualifications :
35 years of relevant IT support experience ideally in a mid-sized or enterprise environment.
Solid hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 macOS Linux and mobile device platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Exchange Online OneDrive SharePoint and Teams.
Experience with Active Directory Group Policy Azure AD.
Familiarity with endpoint security anti-virus tools and encryption (BitLocker or similar).
Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VPN Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Desk.
Understanding of IT asset and configuration management practices.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2 support for desktops laptops mobile devices and user accounts across Windows and Mac environments.
Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues in a timely and effective manner.
Manage user accounts permissions and groups in Active Directory and Microsoft 365/Azure AD.
Administer endpoint protection drive encryption (e.g. BitLocker) and patching tools.
Support and maintain video conferencing tools (e.g. Zoom Teams).
Maintain and improve documentation of IT processes configurations and user guides.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when necessary ensuring proper resolution and communication.
Assist in on-boarding and off-boarding users provisioning systems and managing asset inventory.
Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades software rollouts and security initiatives.
Monitor infrastructure tools (RMM ticketing systems endpoint managers).
Apply ITIL practices for incident problem and change management.
Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory)
Certifications such as CompTIA A Network Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or ITIL Foundation.
Basic scripting or automation using PowerShell or similar tools.
Experience supporting remote users in a distributed or hybrid environment.
Exposure to cybersecurity fundamentals or controls (ISO 27001 NIST etc.).

A proactive self-starting attitude with a focus on user satisfaction.
