Job Description

As a Mortgage Loan Closer youll impact the lives of everyday people and help them go from surviving to thriving with innovative digital personal finance solutions. Our closers are responsible for reviewing submitted loan documentation for completeness and accuracy as well as preparing final closing documents in a timely fashion.

This is a hybrid role with 90% of your time spent working from home 1-3 days in our Tempe office each month. Candidates must reside in the greater Phoenix area.

What youll do:  

  • Prepare and coordinate all loan documents for loan closing including all aspects of quality control prior to funding.
  • Prepare and track borrowers receipt of Closing Disclosure per TRID regulations.
  • Collaborate with closing agents on final loan figures for the Closing Disclosure.
  • Maintain relations and communication with document preparation vendors to meet standards of compliance in at least 18 states.
  • Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving with all parties to the loan before during and after closing.
  • Execute loan documents on behalf of the company.
  • Prepare funding packages for warehouse lenders. Sets up wire for closing agent/title with the funding department.
  • Perform data integrity reviews prior to shipping to secondary marketing investors while meeting purchase/delivery deadlines.
  • Review pre-funding loan conditions and executed loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Direct collateral packages to applicable warehouse banks and/or investors.
  • Archive digital files for document storage. 

 


Qualifications :

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial services role
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Able to successfully complete federal background/credit checks
  • Ability to work in a continually-changing entrepreneurial team environment
