Develop operate and manage Condition Monitoring techniques such as Vibration Monitoring Thermography and Ultra sound monitoring for customers in Singapore.
Key Activities:
To develop and operate condition monitoring programs for John Crane customers in Chemical Petrochemical and Oil & Gas environments in conjunction with lead Condition Monitoring / Reliability Engineer.
To set up and optimize vibration monitoring route for rotating equipments in the plant as necessary.
To collect routine and ad-hoc vibration data from equipments as per schedule.
To analyze vibration data report abnormalities and provide recommendations
To implement other condition monitoring solutions such as Thermography Ultra Sound Monitoring and Motion Amplification.
Conduct monthly (Alliance Improvement team)/quarterly/ yearly meeting with stakeholders
Prepare monthly and yearly reports for external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain the equipment & vibration database and failure history using SKF Aptitude or AMS Machinery Manager software within the scope of the contract.
Perform vibration analysis recommendations and reporting.
Monitor key KPIs on periodic basis
Understand customers needs Review installations make engineering proposals to optimize arrangements quantify benefits prepare and present proposals.
Qualifications :
Education:
ITE or Diploma in Mechanical in Engineering or Similar
Experience:
2-8 Years
Technical Skills:
Posses knowledge of rotating equipments used in Oil & Gas Petrochemical or process industries
Able to collect vibration data using portable vibration analyzers such as Emerson 2140 or SKF
Vibration Analyst certification on category 1 or 2 preferred
Exposure to Condition Monitoring techniques such as Ultra- Sound Analysis Motion Amplification will be added advantage.
