Job Description

Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are recruiting for a Business Administrator to work at our customers site in Derby on a contract basis.

Support the Business Lead by providing accurate and timely data tools and problems solving techniques to allow for robust business decisions. Integrate across business sector and ensure control of key business drivers (e.g. forecasting of future workload headcount and budgeting)

Role details: 

  • Job title: Business Administrator
  • Contract length: 12 months 
  • Location: Derby  
  • Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella solution

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review MiS data for DBU or function to support decision making. Analyse and review current and historical data sources
  • Provide management information in a manner that is accurate and meaningful for the key stakeholder.
  • Support historical data capture and comparison scenarios; data provision and analysis for programmes (long term by being the recognised practitioner and point of contact for Business Management techniques and tools.
  • Develop define and deploy best practice management information processes techniques and tools.
  • Plan and manage assigned workload and work of others to meet all commitments & agreed deliverables working with the wider team where appropriate in support of business objectives.
  • Model the business data to support decision making. Analyse and review current and historical data sources and assess the impact of using various assumptions and data as an input.

Qualifications :

Experience:

  • Articulate numerate and able to present data for management review in different units of measurement (i.e. Currency / Hours)
  • Able to actively participate in meetings and work alone and/or as part of a team to generate and deliver to action plans
  • Can demonstrate understanding of company commitments to meet business objectives and KPIs
  • Can analysis data (i.e. data cleaning smoothing handling missing data and data reduction)
  • Understanding of project management and project controls aspects
  • Tools including: Excel Advanced PowerPoint Intermediate SAP Power BI MiS


Additional Information :

**Security clearance**

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.

Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
