Job Description

Job Title: Region Director Trainee

Reports To: Zone Vice President
Location: Multiple Locations (Relocation Required)
Travel Requirement: Up to 45%

Position Summary

The Region Director Trainee position is a high-impact accelerated training role designed to prepare individuals for promotion to a Regional Director role within approximately 69 months depending on experience. This intensive development program will equip the incumbent with the knowledge skills and experience required to lead a high-performing retail region driving strategic initiatives and operational excellence across a multi-unit territory.

Key Responsibilities

Upon successful completion of the training period the Region Director will be responsible for the following:

Lead a team of Market Leaders Area Leaders and Store Leaders in executing daily store operations to deliver a consistent customer experience and maximize sales and profitability.

Provide hands-on coaching and guidance on business strategy execution systems implementation and program delivery.

Champion and drive transformation initiatives in alignment with 7-Elevens Mission Vision Strategy Map and Leadership Principles.

Collaborate with the Zone Vice President and senior leadership to develop implement and measure business plans and objectives.

Act as a trusted strategic advisor on operational issues and long-term planning.

Establish and manage annual budgets with oversight from the VP of Operations.

Build cross-functional relationships with the Store Support Center to align and execute key initiatives.

Promote high performance by training mentoring and developing field leadership teams and Store Teams.

Build a robust talent pipeline by recognizing and rewarding high performance while coaching underperformers toward improvement or transition.

Accelerate adoption of digital platforms including delivery mobile checkout loyalty programs touchless pay and other technology innovations.

Ensure excellence in customer service and brand standards through focus on operational scorecards including 7Clean Customer Experience Visit (CEV) and other KPIs.

Drive operational results in cleanliness quality safety and customer experience to build brand loyalty and increase store traffic.

Financial & Operational Acumen

Strong understanding of financial performance metrics including controllable earnings labor management inventory control and P&L.

Ability to lead large-scale operations with focus on profitability and efficiency.

Familiarity with retail and/or restaurant operational best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree MBA or advanced degree preferred (or equivalent leadership experience).

Proven experience leading multi-unit retail or QSR operations.

Background in operational leadership and field execution preferred.

Experience in merchandising fuels real estate or corporate operations a plus.

Familiarity with digital platforms and customer-facing technology initiatives is strongly preferred.

Must be geographically flexible for relocation during and after the training program.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 45% of the time including travel outside of assigned geography.

Pay: $160000.00 - $220000.00 Annual

The Company may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in this state. This range may be modified in the future. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned vested and determinable under the terms and conditions of the applicable policies and plans. The amount and availability of any bonus commission long-term incentive compensation benefits or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Companys sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Companys sole discretion consistent with the law.
