General Manager - Foot of the Mountain Motel

The Role:
The General Manager will lead the successful operation of this 20-room creek-side retreat in Boulder Colorado. This position will serve as the on-site visionary and operations lead ensuring every touchpoint of the guest and team experience reflects both the motels heritage and Imprints values. Through managing day-to-day operations community involvement and with support from Imprints corporate team the GM ensures an exceptional guest experience while enhancing the motels role in Boulders hospitality scene. This is not just a job its a calling to preserve and evolve a landmark rooted in Colorados natural beauty.

What youll do:
As General Manager youll oversee all aspects of daily operations-from leading a small passionate team to ensuring exceptional guest service and maintaining the motels vintage charm. Youll manage staffing scheduling and training while stepping in during low season or staff absences to keep things running smoothly. Youll handle guest feedback both online and in person coordinate with vendors monitor financial performance and support marketing and revenue strategies. Youll also ensure the property meets safety and quality standards all while building strong ties with the Boulder community.
Ideal Candidate:
Were seeking a hospitality professional with experience managing boutique independent or historic properties-someone who leads with empathy communicates clearly and thrives in guest-facing environments. You should be comfortable using hospitality tech and Microsoft Office flexible with scheduling during peak periods and willing to roll up your sleeves when needed. Physical tasks like lifting and bending are part of the role and experience in food & beverage or facilities management is a plus. A bachelors degree is preferred but not required.
