Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator - Dilley TX
Location: Dilley TX
Schedule: 1st shift 8-hour shifts including weekdays and weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Weekly Gross Pay: $2330
Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Coordinator (MHC) for a full-time contract assignment in a correctional facility in Dilley TX. This role provides direct non-medical mental health services to an incarcerated population. Candidates must be comfortable in secure settings and able to complete federal clearance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health screenings and clinical interviews
- Develop implement and modify individualized treatment plans
- Provide counseling crisis intervention and therapeutic support
- Document evaluations and treatments in patient medical records
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility and clinical standards
- Apply evidence-based psychological counseling techniques and practices
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Mental Health Counseling or related field
- Active unrestricted LCSW LPC or LMFT license in Texas
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience including at least 2 years in a comparable role
- Must be a U.S. Citizen for ICE clearance (required for submission)
- ICE Clearance Screening Form must be submitted
- Must reside 70 miles away from the facility
- Must be able to start within 2 weeks of clearance
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid drivers license preferred
- Must have open availability including weekends and holidays
- No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during assignment
Preferred:
- Experience in correctional or forensic mental health settings
- Active AHA BLS certification
