Job Description
Our client an international luxury brand is seeking a Legal Executive to join their dynamic global Legal Department. Reporting directly to the head of legal based in Hong Kong you will play a vital role in supporting the legal team with various projects and matters both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the legal department with legal matters relating to new projects worldwide
- Handle legal inquiries from business units and provide timely and accurate advice and solutions
- Review and analyse corporate contracts ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate in drafting contracts correspondence reports and presentations based on corporate model forms and precedents
- Prepare comprehensive contract summaries to facilitate decision-making processes
- Facilitate communication and coordination with external legal providers when required
- Provide support to other colleagues in the Legal Department as needed
Skills and Experience:
- Native legal-level fluency in both English and a high degree of proficiency in written Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional Chinese) fluency in spoken Mandarin would be advantageous.
- Able to draft contracts and correspondence in both English and Chinese
- Experience in providing preliminary legal advice on basic legal agreements such as confidentiality agreements and corporate contracts would be preferred
- Possess a Law degree Legal Diploma or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 3 years of experience at a law firm and/or in-house in the legal field
