Risk & Compliance Lawyer Hong Kong Law Firm
Our client an international law firm with aggressive expansion plans across the region is seeking a Risk & Compliance lawyer to play a pivotal role in ensuring operations align with regulatory requirements and best practices. This is a key infrastructure position that offers the opportunity for regional career expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the firm operates effectively within the regulatory framework identifying and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with partners and support staff to uphold high standards of compliance and risk management.
- Conduct conflict checks and manage compliance processes to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Oversee quality control measures and perform legal audits to maintain operational excellence.
- Provide advisory support on policies regulatory matters and compliance-related issues.
- Optimize support functions by effectively utilizing offshore shared resources.
Qualifications
- Senior-level qualified lawyer with extensive experience in risk and compliance within a legal or professional services environment.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex processes.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus.
